Provider Listing, Verification & Removal Policy

ChildcareHub is a childcare discovery directory designed to help families find and compare childcare options.

We understand that childcare providers need accurate information, appropriate representation and a straightforward way to control information associated with their business.

This policy explains how ChildcareHub handles provider listings.

1. Why a provider may appear on ChildcareHub

ChildcareHub may create or maintain directory listings using information provided by:

  • childcare providers;
  • publicly available sources;
  • government or regulatory sources;
  • business directories;
  • other lawful sources; or
  • information submitted to ChildcareHub.

The purpose of a listing is to help families discover childcare options.

A listing does not necessarily mean that ChildcareHub has a commercial relationship with the provider.

2. Listing information may change

Childcare information can change frequently.

A provider may change:

  • availability;
  • contact information;
  • operating hours;
  • services;
  • location;
  • program details;
  • fees;
  • licensing information; or
  • other information.

ChildcareHub cannot guarantee that every listing is continuously current.

Families should verify important information directly with the provider before making childcare decisions.

3. Claim your listing

A childcare provider or authorized representative may request to claim a listing.

Claiming a listing allows the provider to:

  • verify information;
  • request corrections;
  • provide updated information;
  • add appropriate information;
  • request removal of information; and
  • manage eligible listing features.

ChildcareHub may request reasonable information to verify that the person making the request is authorized to manage the listing.

4. Correct inaccurate information

If you believe information on your listing is inaccurate, please contact us.

We may ask for:

  • the listing URL;
  • the information that is incorrect;
  • the correct information; and
  • reasonable confirmation that you are authorized to request the change.

ChildcareHub will review the request and make appropriate corrections where the information can be reasonably verified.

5. Request removal

If you are a childcare provider or authorized representative and do not want your listing displayed, you may contact ChildcareHub and request removal.

We will review legitimate requests and remove or modify information where appropriate, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate reasons for retaining or displaying information.

A removal request may require reasonable verification of the requester’s identity or authority.

6. Information that may remain

In some circumstances, ChildcareHub may retain limited records relating to a listing or a request, even after public information is removed.

For example, we may retain records reasonably necessary to:

  • document that a request was received;
  • prevent repeated unauthorized changes;
  • resolve disputes;
  • comply with legal obligations; or
  • protect the integrity and security of the platform.

Any retained personal information remains subject to ChildcareHub’s Privacy Policy.

7. Provider photographs and submitted content

Providers should only submit photographs, logos, descriptions or other content that they are authorized to provide.

Providers should not submit photographs or personal information relating to children, parents or employees unless they have appropriate authorization and the information is reasonably necessary.

ChildcareHub may remove content that creates privacy, legal, safety or accuracy concerns.

8. Verification does not mean endorsement

A “verified” or “claimed” listing, where such a designation is used, means only that ChildcareHub has completed the verification process applicable to that designation.

It does not mean that ChildcareHub guarantees:

  • the quality of care;
  • current availability;
  • suitability of the provider;
  • compliance with every applicable requirement;
  • the accuracy of every statement made by the provider; or
  • that a provider is the right choice for a particular family.

Parents and guardians should conduct their own due diligence.

9. Contact us

To claim, correct or request removal of a listing:

Email: [PROVIDER EMAIL]

Subject: Provider Listing Request

Please include:

  • provider/program name;
  • listing URL;
  • your relationship to the provider;
  • the requested action; and
  • any information necessary to verify the request.

ChildcareHub aims to respond to legitimate requests within a reasonable period.
